Have some time to travel?  Want to see the world?  Why not consider Luanda, Angora?  Let’s look at some the of highlights of the locale, shall we?

• It is located on the coast of Africa and boasts gorgeous beaches.
• The police will shoot and kill you for absolutely no reason.  They will then get back in their vehicle and leave.

From the country whose major contribution to society is the 419 scam, we can now add governmentally sanctioned murder by the local police.

Radical Ribeiro, of the Banda Mulundi production company was shooting a film in Luanda when a truck full of “members of an elite squad” of police pulled up, hopped out and shot two of the actors dead and wounded another three. The director screamed that they were filming a movie and realizing their mistake,  the police stopped shooting.

They then apologized profusely and ordered medical assistance be brought to the scene immediately.

I’m just kidding.  They actually got back into the vehicle and left without tending to any of the shooting victims.

It was assumed to be an accidental shooting stemming from the mistaken assumption that the actors were “robbers”, since they were carrying unloaded weapons. This, in spite of the fact that the director had prior approval from the police to shoot at the location and there was a crowd of onlookers watching the filming.

There has been no comment from local police of the government.

Imagine that.
