Meet Petri Purho, of Helsinki, Finland. Petri developed a game called Crayon Physics Deluxe.

It very well may be the coolest game on the face of the earth.

Petri walked home from the Independent Games Festival $20,000 heavier, having won the top honor.

The game is very simple. You have to get a ball to roll over stars to collect them. You do this by drawing objects. You draw it and it comes to life. All you can use is the physics of the game to achieve your goal.

You can download a POC(proof of concept) at the site. It’s supposed to eventually be released for PC. You can sign up for release notification while you are there.

Being a sucker for apps and scripts developed by the little guy, I’m very much looking forward to this one.

P.S. For a giggle, check out this guy’s attempt on level three.
