I’m still outraged by everything you do

as a society, I’m just currently too tired to write about it. My latest project is in the works. The loft layout disappears in favor of a bedroom that you can’t see from the living room.
Lofts are cool:
1) If you’re 20 and single.
2) If you think you live in a movie set in New York
But if you’re a middle 30′s parent of a child that likes to watch Dora the Explorer and Hannah Montana at 7:30 in the morning on a weekend, it is not the ideal floorplan.
Don’t worry, as soon as I can stay awake after work, I’ll resume telling you everything you’re doing wrong. I will also throw in my standard dash of derision at no extra charge.

Ever wonder why tradesmen were pious types originally? “First there came the idea, and it was good and we rejoiced. Then there was the plan, and it was doable and we were happy. Then came the materials and the labour hire and we were perplexed. Then the work started, and things started to go awry and we were distinctly worried. Then we were knee deep in tools and sawdust with no apparent way out and … that’s when we found religion.”
So if you’re swearing to the Almighty every five minutes, now you where it comes from.
The pictures are interesting, especially that catwalk, and it’s an impressive scope of work. Do you build Space Shuttles on weekends – I think NASA could use you. I’d try it myself, but I rent right now, so the landlord might get a bit pissed off …
Free derision? Whoa. Where do I sign? Actually, I always thought your rates were very reasonable.

You know, planning has never been part of my cycle. That might be something I want to look into at a later date.
I used to sub for NASA but there’s a dispute over who’s to blame for a particular fixture that was on the Challenger. They may have done testing, but I refuse to believe that a poorly mounted toilet was to blame for everything. I think they’re trying to get out of paying me.
RE: my rates- Even at the current rates of free, you’re still getting screwed.
