It costs me roughly a third than I was paying for satellite. I get a package of internet and tv for less than I was just paying for internet. After getting rid of sat tv and sat internet, I’m saiving almost 150 smackers!

This 21st century stuff is nicer than I had heard. I can’t wait to try earmuffs.

Today, I received the happy news (via smoke signals and drums) that my monthly bandwidth cap *may* increase ten-fold, somewhere around September 2009. Whoopee! That means that I’ll have a whole 30GB a month. At 384kbps, that’s probably more than enough…

To be fair, we do have speeds approaching 4Mbps (even fibre networks) and uncapped accounts, but the monthly instalment would be similar to buying a top-of-the-range washing machine or dishwasher, every month!

Anyway, merry Frickmas Schwim!
