Maybe the rest of the community is waiting like a calf at a slaughterhouse, under the assumption that the same people behind the SIIA video will be making one for treading on MS IP. I've about damn given up on linux "communities". It seems they're disinterested in anything more than the top 40 topics of the day when it comes to idle chat. I find myself trolling discussion forums like a man picking up a hooker. I know I don't literally fit the description of the type of person to join donkeykongandlatexenthusiasts.com, but they have stimulating discussion, so I make some concessions. Talk to you later, I'm late and I need to find some talcum powder stat if I plan on fitting into my catsuit in time for the skype party with the guys. I suppose that those who waste neuro-time on the -- "grabbing MS by the throat" theory, or the "anti-antitrust conspiracy in cahoots with MS" theory, or the "that which looks like conspiracy is usually just stupidity" theory -- will beat us to death with words trying to sort all this out. Oddly (or not, these days) the Linux forums don't have much to say about it. Indeed, since summer of 2007 (you probably have an exact date :)) they don't seem to have a (public) opinion on much of anything.
