A dichotomy, you presume? Well, not really. What can be gained by combining the two posts is very simple: Before linux becomes extinct, it will trounce Windows 7.
I guess there’s some comfort to be had in that.

I’m afraid that I just don’t have much patience with articles that are merely written to fill space. Or perhaps these guys write this stuff so they can, at some time in the future – no matter what happens, quote themselves and claim to be soothsayers.

Well Rick, when you consider the incredible burden that they carry, it becomes a little more clear why they must pull content from their ass.

Yep. I’m thanking my lucky stars all right. And I’m pleased as punch that my ISP now provides me about 6 times the DL rate while only cutting the UL rate in half. I’ve got plenty of bandwith for all that shit that the providers provide.
Too bad. I was kinda gettin’ a kick out of keeping the UL rate at about 80% max with legal torrents just to keep the ISP boys busy honing their DPI skills.
