It’s a loose interpretation

What if cops weren’t restricted by the facade of protecting the public? Well, probably this.
Anthony Arambula held a bad guy at gun point after said bad guy crashed through his window and into his son’s room. Anthony then called 911 and appraised them of the situation and requested police assistance.
Anthony would have been better off if he had asked for assistance from the bad guy.
Police officers stormed the house, shot the home owner in the back four times, then for good measure shot him twice more.
Some time after the homeowner, lying on the floor with six holes in them passed on the information that they shot the wrong guy, the cops began making a cover story.
Unfortunately for them, the 911 call was still active and recording their discussion.
Woops.
They then grabbed Anthony by the leg and dragged him out into the yard in front of his family, then put him on the hood of the car and drove him down the driveway.
I wonder if during any of this, they took a break to play Wii Resort.

The part about this I find the most disturbing, is that the officer in question had six clean easy shots at a man’s back. Shooting him in the first place was totally unforgivable, but emptying his duty weapon into the man, and failing to kill the guy? That’s just plain wrong,

Hmm. That was about the only thing I wasn’t surprised by.
The cops I’ve fired with would have a better chance of killing a man if they used the service pistol to attempt to club the victim to death.
