Hi there Lyudmila!

It just so happens that one of my most popular bitches died recently due to an unfortunate fight that broke out during a gang bang. I have an opening for you, providing you’re open to water sports, choking and being the recipient of a donkey punch or two.

Please let me know if you’re interested and I’ll sort all of transportation details.

Love,

Ooh! I want to do my part to help!

by schwim on Nov.30, 2009, under Humorous

I’m slacking, I know.  It’s been a crazy couple of weeks. I’ve laid block, torn whole exterior walls out and replaced them with windows.  Oh, and I spent four days at my in-law’s for Thanksgiving.  That’ll curb your productivity.  All this time, the Christmas deadline has been looming over my head so you can imagine how it hurts me to let the more fantastic articles and spam fly by without putting finger to keyboard.

This, though…. this I just couldn’t let go by without doing my part. “Twitter is the most used word of 2009″.

- Dear Friend, My name is Rose Mensah, a female of 23 years old and a 3rd year student of UNIVERSITY OF GHANA. My father was in the Precious Stone industry and owned mines in Tanzania, He also used to deal (buy and sell) in diamonds from Angola, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Democratic Republic of Congo (former Zaire). It is sad to say that he died of the deadly Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome – AIDS on the 15th July, 2007.Two days after my father was pronounced HIV positive, my mother Committed suicide. Now, I can no longer walk freely on the streets, at school or even in the church without being pointed at or gossiped about. This development has affected me academically, physically and Psychologically and I have decided to come over to your country where I Would have peace to live and further my education and have contacted you to assist me to transfer out the sum of $US 5.3Million and 75kilos of gold and diamond which my father deposited with Safety company, for my upkeep when it became Obvious he was going to die. I intend to invest this money in your business or any other business you deem healthy. However I will appreciate if you keep my letter confidential or delete if you do not accept my proposal, you will be rewarded with 20% of the total funds for your efforts, I Thanking you in anticipation Rose Mensah

Oh and “mkdir”? That’s ours too.

Thanks to the guys at the linux forum(note: I wouldn’t consider visiting linuxforums.org without adblock and noscript), I bring you the latest dipshit patent maneuver by Microft: Microsoft patents sudo.

I won’t bother regurgitating any of the links to prior art.  You can find hundreds of them over at the Groklaw site.  I just wanted to post for the people who don’t understand why it’s becoming increasingly hard to take Microsoft seriously as a software “developer”.

They came into existence riding on the coattails of other people’s work.  Over the years, you would have thought they could have hired enough competent developers to come up with something of their own to stand on.  It seems though that they are still trying their damnedest to keep and gain users by simply absorbing intellectual property they can buy and shutting down those they can’t through lawsuits.

I guess we’re supposed to be surprised.

Happy Hug-a-Guy-With-a-Rifle day

by schwim on Nov.11, 2009, under Miscellaneous

Happy Veteran’s day to all of you that signed a portion of your life away to Uncle Sam.  And to all of you that made the somewhat humerous choice of joining the Marine Corps, Happy 234th birthday.  I would have gotten a cake, but I couldn’t find one that would fit enough candles.

Imagine how she would have reacted if it had been painted.

While sitting here tying my shoes(well, operating the velcro, with my dexterity and problem-solving aptitude, replacing laces with velcro saved me hours a day), I got an email from one of my three followers on the blog asking where the hell I have been.  I must apologize to all three of the readers as well as the scores of visitors that found this site while searching “how to administer a suppository”(the third most popular search query).  You see, I promised my wife that she would have a finished living room to celebrate Christmas in.

I speak, of course, of the living room that I completely demolished over a year ago, while converting our loft layout into something more usable.  If you think I feel bad about it taking a year, imagine how bad I feel at the demolished bathroom that has existed for over four.
