I thought we found the perfect use for Twitter when the incredible shock troop that is the Iranian Cyber Army took over Twitter’s home page to post notice of said takeover(Side note: if you’d like to contact the Iranian cyber army, they would love to hear from you.  They posted their GMail address on the takeover splash page, the social butterflies.).

But people are always finding new and inventive ways to use the powerful social tool that is Twitter.  For instance, if, while you’re supposed to be watching your child and are instead tweeting away while said child drowns, you can update your Twitter feed to tell everyone, post pictures of the now dead child and even argue with any people that might post to your feed to let you know that you’re not a very good parent.

Think that’s outside the boundaries of social networking? Ms. Ross would beg to differ. She was kind enough to update all of the world from the tweets that occurred during the downing, the notice of death and then of course her posts defending her previous tweets.  All of this happened on the same day of the child’s death, when most people would be grieving.

I guess it shouldn’t surprise mein the least that the perfect Twitter user doesn’t need the time to grieve.
