E-Dribble

There’s children in third world countries with no cell signal.

My main man, the Obamanator, in an effort put the government in charge of absolutely everything assembled a shock-troop in charge of people that sell you cellular phones.  Well, those guys are wondering why Verizon doubled their cancellation fee for data phone contracts.

Verizon’s response?  Well, they doubled the fee so the poor unwashed mobs of the world can afford to get the same incredible service that Verizon provides to the rich  bastards that pay the ETF(early termination fee).

Which makes me kind of relieved that I dumped Verizon last year.  We not only got rid of their cellular service, but we also terminated our land line provided by them.  Home service had gotten ridiculously expensive and Verizon has a bad habit of crippling every data enabled phone that they take under their greedy little wing. When Verizon customer service told me that they had disabled USB connection on the Razr and I could either pay the usage fee to mail myself the pictures off of the phone or I could pay for an application that would re-enable the USB capability, I knew it was time to drop them like a prom date that had herpes.

Not that I think that any of the other cellular providers are any less apt to rape you.  I’ve begun seriously considering dropping my data phone and picking up a Jitterbug.  I’m tired of paying the insane prices that American cell providers charge.  I’m slowly being smothered by all the insane charges multiplied by all my conveniences.

If this keeps up, I might become one of the poor that Verizon’s trying so hard to help.
