I tremble for our species

… when I realize that the people tasked with keeping this country running are even more of a bunch of mindless followers than the unwashed masses are.

Seriously, the sheep are supposed to emulate the top of the totem pole.  What in the hell are we supposed to do when the top of the totem pole is busy emulating us?

The Whitehouse blog recently posted an article letting you know how “connected” they have become.  In it, they give you the links to their Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Flickr, Vimeo, Youtube and iTunes channels. You can now get the most critical information concerning our national welfare and security right alongside these guys.

Nevermind the punishment, just stop them before they breed.

Say you and your eight best buds want to commit arson and burn down a building.  How do you go about doing it without getting caught?

First off, Never video tape it.  That’s just asking for trouble.

If you video tape it, make sure that you don’t post it to Youtube.

If you do post it to Youtube, do not, under any circumstances, place credits at the end of the video, listing all of the people involved in the crime.

These people should have talked to me before burning down a building.

Don’t be evil…. consistently

Remember when Google’s motto was “Don’t be Evil“? Well, Google long ago turned that into lip service, but at least upheld a facade of a corporate entity driven by do-gooders and white knights.

Take their latest stand for all that is good.
